James Crossley

james crossleyJames Crossley started reading when he was four years old and hasn’t stopped since. His early years were spent roasting in a southwestern desert oven, but he was eventually left out to cool on a wire rack in the Pacific Northwest. There he entered the virtual realm of the internet, where he helped build what was briefly known as Earth’s Biggest Bookstore. Barely escaping with his life, he found a haven in the brick-and-mortar world and has spent the last decade as an independent bookseller. He is the father of two young children and can prove it by reciting Where the Wild Things Are in its entirety. Blindfolded.

James writes regularly about books for the Message in a Bottle blog and also at Northwest Book Lovers; completists can find other work in more or less obscure corners online.
