heleneAfter growing up in the middle of nowhere in France and surviving grad school in the American Midwest, Hélène -pronounced “LN”- moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia where she is testing the theory that being a bad French person and a bad American could make for a good Canadian. She started to read Tintin sitting cross-legged on the floor before she could read and never stopped loving books with images. Bandes dessinées, manga, comics, she devours everything. She knows to bite her tongue when someone asks if there is a doctor in the room and probably owes most of her friends to her ability to bake chocolate cakes.
