David Abrams

David Abrams reads books like he eats Cheez-Its: entire handfuls at a time. He’s in a 12-step program for his Cheez-It addiction; there is no cure for his bookholism. When he’s not gorging on crackers and books, he’s writing short stories, poems and novels in the dark-but-comfortable basement of his home in Butte, Montana where he lives with his wife and twin cats. He earned his B.A. in English from the University of Oregon and his MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. His short stories have appeared in Esquire, Narrative, The Literarian, Connecticut Review and several other publications. His novel Fobbit, a dark comedy about the Iraq War, will be published by Grove/Atlantic later this year.
